Gold Coast Ashmore
Pilates in Ashmore.
Ashmore's useful choice is between two genuinely different group formats: CorePlus's separate reformer and heated-mat rooms, or STRONG's cardio-led Rowformer sessions.
The neighbourhood note
Use the route below to make the class part of the day, rather than the whole of it.
Before and after class
Choose a conventional reformer or heated mat room, or make cardio part of the session.
CorePlus Benowa is named for the neighbouring suburb but sits in Ashmore's Bronberg Plaza. Its own guide separates a light-filled reformer room from a heated mat room used for Pilates and yoga, so it suits someone who wants familiar studio formats under one roof. STRONG Pilates Ashmore is a different proposition: its Pilates-inspired sessions combine resistance work with rowing or cycling intervals. Compare the formats first, then confirm the current schedule directly with the studio.
For a quieter continuation, Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens is across the suburb line in Benowa rather than Ashmore. The volunteer Friends guide identifies the Mangroves to Mountains Walk, Sensory Garden and Butterfly Walk, giving the area a specific place to slow down after class. That boundary matters: it is a nearby garden visit, not another Ashmore studio or an invented part of the workout.
The local ritual
3 stops, one considered Ashmore morning.
Pair the class with coffee, fresh air or a place that shows Ashmore at its best.
