Pilates in Bodmin, neighbourhood by neighbourhood.

LJT is the public-timetable anchor. Its Lanivet studio forms part of a growing Cornish group with locations in Liskeard and Tavistock, but Bodmin has its own live Momence route and a clearly published address at St Ingunger Country Offices. Classes are kept to roughly four to six people and are explicitly designed to welcome beginners as well as regular clients.

The Art of Pilates is the intimate alternative. Aurélie Madec works from a private two-reformer studio near Bodmin, beginning with an assessment before one-to-one or duet teaching. A current local partner page publishes the service at £55 for an hour and provides direct phone, email and Instagram contact rather than a conventional class timetable.

The distinction is useful: choose LJT for a recurring group habit and online booking, or Aurélie when individual correction and a quieter apparatus room matter more. Elite Pilates remains outside the live list because its own Bodmin page still says “coming soon”; Kernow Pilates also remains unconfirmed until a current studio-owned reformer service can be confirmed.

Neither studio sits in Bodmin's main shopping streets, so build the visit around the wider landscape. Lanivet is practical from the A30; Lanhydrock and Cardinham Woods add proper walks close to town; the Camel Trail gives a flatter route north towards Wadebridge. The route is intentionally local rather than treating every north-Cornwall studio as interchangeable.
