The Caernarfon neighbourhood edit Caernarfon and Llanwnda
Pilates in Caernarfon and Llanwnda.
Caernarfon now has two distinct reformer routes: Body by Sherin's women-only room on the Cibyn estate and Protec Physio's clinically informed small groups in nearby Llanwnda.
The neighbourhood note
A local dispatch for making the class part of the day, rather than the whole of it.
Before and after class
Make the class part of the place.
Body by Sherin is the newer, more fitness-led room, with a bank of oak reformers and bookings managed through ClubRight. Protec Physio takes the quieter clinical route, combining mixed-ability reformer with rehabilitation-aware teaching and one-to-one appointments on request.
Both studios sit beyond the old-town core, so treat class and Caernarfon as two parts of the itinerary. Return to the castle walls for Palas Print, the quayside and a walk along the Menai waterfront.
The contrast is useful: one is a women-only gym community with a polished new reformer space; the other is a longstanding physiotherapy practice. Choose by teaching style, then let the compact centre supply the coffee and culture afterwards.
The local ritual
4 stops, one considered Caernarfon and Llanwnda morning.
A short edit for adding coffee, fresh air or a little local character to the class booking.
