Cockermouth Cockermouth and the Derwent
Pilates in Cockermouth and the Derwent.
Cockermouth's two central studios now cover both coached six-person classes and a carefully taught route into independent reformer practice.
The neighbourhood note
Use the route below to make the class part of the day, rather than the whole of it.
Before and after class
Choose a live group timetable or learn an individual apparatus programme.
19Twenty6 is the coached option: Gentle Flow, Mixed Ability and Evolve Flow run for 45 minutes on six beds, with an induction plus two classes currently £55. Cockermouth Pilates Studio takes the opposite route, using five £250 induction sessions to prepare clients for ten independent visits at £95.
Station Street places 19Twenty6 a few doors from Fika, while Banks Court belongs to Market Place and Wordsworth House. Both can become part of the town rather than a quick equipment stop; the decision is whether you want recurring coaching or autonomy after deeper tuition.
The local ritual
3 stops, one considered Cockermouth and the Derwent morning.
Pair the class with coffee, fresh air or a place that shows Cockermouth and the Derwent at its best.
