The city edit Issue 01
The Hinckley Pilates Edit
Hinckley's reformer scene is both real and varied: three active first-party studios sit around Regent Street, Holliers Walk and Derby Road rather than being borrowed from Leicester.
The long read
Pilates in Hinckley, neighbourhood by neighbourhood.
Studio Rise is the intimate choice on Regent Street, keeping classes to four and moving from gentle foundations into stronger classical-contemporary work. Studio Flow on Holliers Walk combines reformer and tower with mat Pilates, pole, aerial and dance formats in a deliberately inclusive room.
Pilates with Jody works from Studio Thirteen on Derby Road, blending mat and reformer within all-level sessions. It is a smaller, teacher-led practice rather than a high-volume boutique timetable and should be compared on attention, not branding.
These studios form a practical central loop. Regent Street and Holliers Walk support a town-centre class-and-coffee routine; Derby Road is a short move north. Parking and the booking window matter more than distance between pins.
Saxon Fitness also advertises reformer, but its current taster page says the service is unavailable and exposes no sessions. It remains in the research ledger until a live timetable returns, keeping the guide accurate without losing the lead.
