Lengthen Pilates offers private one-to-one reformer sessions from its Huntly studio. The teacher is Body Control Pilates trained and APPI reformer certified, with additional qualifications around bone health, hypermobility, older adults and back pain.
Reformer is not advertised for the two- and three-person appointments, which remain mat or standing-chair based. That distinction is useful when booking: email directly for a private reformer session and discuss the aims before the appointment.
Huntly Castle sits where the Deveron and Bogie meet, giving the town a historic anchor without turning the day into a formal sightseeing checklist. Dean's bistro and shop supplies the unapologetically local coffee-and-shortbread stop.
Deveron Projects makes the contemporary counterpoint. Its Town Collection places artworks through businesses, halls, lanes and riverbanks, so the most interesting post-class walk is partly mapped and partly discovered as you go.
