Redcar Redcar and Marske
Pilates in Redcar and Marske.
Redcar's current Pilates offer is modest and community-based; the seafront, not a crowded studio market, is the reason to make a morning of it.
The neighbourhood note
Use the route below to make the class part of the day, rather than the whole of it.
Before and after class
Make the class part of the place.
Marske Leisure Centre publishes a regular Pilates class and gives the area a current local option. Dedicated reformer seekers will find stronger choice in neighbouring Saltburn and Guisborough, which the local route links without mislabelling them as Redcar studios.
Stay for the coast. Walk the broad promenade, take in the vertical pier and find coffee with a sea view. The town currently has one clear reformer choice, with no need to stretch the boundary towards doubtful alternatives.
The local ritual
3 stops, one considered Redcar and Marske morning.
Pair the class with coffee, fresh air or a place that shows Redcar and Marske at its best.
