LJT is the public-timetable choice. The Tavistock room opened in June 2026 above Tavistock Hire Centre on Pixon Lane, joining the company's Liskeard and Bodmin studios while keeping its own local identity. Classes welcome beginners and experienced clients, stay at roughly four to six people and book through LJT's live Momence profile.
CORE by Laura takes the opposite route from Ottery View Studio in Lamerton. Laura's BASI-equipped private room combines reformer, Cadillac, Wunda chair, spine corrector and F2 system in a single one-hour appointment. A session costs £45; the new-client intro gives four for £135, with five- and ten-session packs reducing the rate further.
The geography helps choose between them. Crelake is the accessible group-class stop on Tavistock's western edge; Lamerton is a quieter appointment for individual programming, rehabilitation or deeper apparatus practice. Tavistock Physio remains outside the reformer list because its current Pilates page describes mat classes and small props rather than machine-based sessions.
Bring either booking back into the market town. Duke's Coffee House sits around the Pannier Market, the stalls make an easy browse, and the canal or River Tavy gives the morning a gentler finish. Tavistock's scene is still compact, but these two studios now cover both sociable reformer and technically complete private teaching.
