Aberdeen City centre and West End
Pilates in City centre and West End.
Aberdeen's West End gathers five current reformer rooms, spanning six-bed boutiques, physiotherapy-led teaching and contemporary app-booked studios within the city's granite core.
The neighbourhood note
Use the route below to make the class part of the day, rather than the whole of it.
Before and after class
Five studios, five routes into the reformer practice.
Studio Be is the clear group-class introduction, publishing Foundation through Peak and Jumpboard for £16. ReformPhysio keeps groups to six and adds clinical one-to-one work; The House Reformer shifts the emphasis towards reformer, barre and sculpt. La Vie De Cami brings candlelight, prenatal and teenager-friendly sessions to a six-reformer Holburn Street room, while The Wallace Practice adds beginner through sport-specific reformer on Seafield Road.
The geography is unusually kind. Carden Place, Albyn Terrace, Great Western Road, Holburn Street and Seafield Road can fit the same West End routine, but the teaching style should decide the booking. Leave room for coffee and the Art Gallery rather than trying to sample every studio at once.
The local ritual
3 stops, one considered City centre and West End morning.
Pair the class with coffee, fresh air or a place that shows City centre and West End at its best.
